Do you feel that you and your new Toyota vehicle really share a bond? Sometimes we all get a little attached to our Toyota models, but Toyota is taking this interaction to another level with its new Toyota FV2 concept car.

Toyota is showing off the three-wheel, one-seat vehicle, which looks like a cross between a bike and a car will be introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show, which takes place at the end of this month.

When describing the new vehicle, Toyota states that it "enhances the driving experience by connecting physically and emotionally with the driver, becoming more fun to drive the more it is used."1

So, how exactly does a car get "emotional?" Well, the FV2 does so by scanning facial expressions and the tone of the driver's voice. Then, the car will display these emotions. For example, the windshield will adapt its color to represent the mood the driver is feeling. So, if you feel road rage in stressful driving situations, this vehicle would alert everyone around you with its tinted red windshield.

The way the car moves and steers is also unique. As Cars  Guide explains, "he driver leans from side to side to steer, and backwards and forwards to accelerate and brake – making for a similar experience to a Segway."2

We can't wait to learn more about the new vehicle following the upcoming show on our Lia Toyota of Klamath Falls blog, so if you're a driver who's located in or around Klamath Falls, OR, be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates!
