For the 2014 model year, the ever-popular Toyota Camry continues to hang ten. Although it hasn't changed much--nor does it need to--some drivers may feel like they want a little bit more with their new sedan. Fortunately for them, they won't have to wait until 2015. The Japanese automaker has decided to roll out a few changes a little earlier.

Although mid-cycle refreshes are common, mid-model year refreshes are pretty rare. But Toyota has one in mind, so that drivers in our Klamath Falls, OR locale can reap the benefits of several of the automaker's new technology at its best.

The name of this mid-year refresh will be the 2014.5, and will feature a slightly higher price than its 2014 counterpart. Given what it will provide drivers, we're not too worried.

The 2014.5 model will boast Toyota's next-generation Entune infotainment system, which will come packaged with hands-free Bluetooth features, and an impressively packed app suite, among other goodies. There will also be a new standard rear-view backup camera, for those of you who like having an extra set of eyes when in reverse.

As we mentioned, the sticker price change is minimal, with the LE trim only costing $200 more for the 2014.5 than the 2014 version. Toyota has said production on the new iteration will begin in December.
