Toyota is constantly innovating. Toyota created the ground-breaking Prius hybrid, and the Toyota Mirai. Our working vehicles are tough and rugged. Our SUVs go the distance. But Toyota is not done improving yet.

Engineers and test drivers are taking a caravan of Toyota vehicles across the United States, to meet with customers and feel what it's like to drive a Toyota vehicle day in and day out across all types of conditions.

In week 4, the expedition heads into the urban jungle, to see how their vehicles handle tight traffic conditions. On the way, they talk to New York City taxi drivers, who spend 12 hours or more sitting in their Toyota cabs.

The engineers have the opportunity to get out from behind their desks and hear first-hand feedback from these drivers. They even ride along with them to get an even more intimate idea of the struggles long-distance drivers face, and how they can apply that to their designs later.

It's all about making ever-better vehicles.
