As of now, the number of hybrid models in the new Toyota lineup sits at seven. But that's about to change very soon. Last week at the New York Auto Show, the eighth member of the brand's electric family sauntered in: the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid.
The RAV4 Hybrid boasts a 2.5L four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. The real kicker here is that beyond the obvious bump in gas mileage, this model will also boast superior horsepower and torque than its petrol predecessor. But a new power train is just the start. The new RAV4 will also get a styling update, with more aggressive headlamps and reworked interior.
